They are seeking a New College Graduate for the role of Sr Physical and Digital Design Engineer, focusing on block level physical design and optimization of CPU cores using GF technologies.

Responsibilities

Physical design using industry standard tools for place and route on CPU cores
RTL analysis and simulation of the cores to ensure correct implementation
Working with customers and technology teams to help improve the PPA of their designs
Standard cell and memory IP improvement through technology and design co-optimization
TCl /PERL scripting for physical design
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required

Education – Graduating Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing

Prior related internship or co-op experience
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
