They are seeking a Project Manager to join their Electrification and Automation team, responsible for the successful execution of projects from initiation to closeout while managing cost, schedule, and quality.

Responsibilities

Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion
Manage the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s)
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project execution
Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status
Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
Proactive Risk identification and Mitigation
Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects
Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
3+ years of experience in the power distribution industry managing medium voltage portfolios
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project
1+ year of working with multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics
Must have a valid US Driver's License
Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Project management or engineering internship or related work experience in Power distribution industry
Basic knowledge and understanding of power distribution; ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and customer specifications
Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within project
Commitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external Customers
Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer
Demonstrated ability in contract and change management
PMP certification as a plus
PMP certification is required within 1 year of employment
