Responsibilities

Perform routine cell culture, including human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) maintenance, expansion, and differentiation into neuronal cell types
Optimize novel iPSC to neuronal differentiation methods; judge the success of the protocol by validating biological function and cell identity markers employing a variety of molecular and biochemical assay techniques
Maintain and organize experiment records and relevant documentation in electronic format
Compile experimental data and present scientific results at the 2026 Intern Poster Day

Required

Must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree (enrolled student)
Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or other related majors
Proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including troubleshooting and optimizing biochemical assays
Background knowledge in in-vitro model systems
Relevant technical skills for data analysis, ELN documentation, and presenting results
Passion and ability to learn new concepts and skills
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
