Pediatric Hematopathology - Faculty, Assistant or Associate Professor
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a full-time hematopathologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to serve as Director of the CW Hematology, Flow Cytometry, and Coagulation Laboratory. This role involves providing expert diagnostic services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in teaching and research activities.
Responsibilities
Provide expert diagnostic services in pediatric and adult hematopathology, including evaluation of bone marrow, lymph nodes, peripheral blood, and flow cytometry
Collaborate closely with pediatric and adult hematologists/oncologists, bone marrow transplant physicians, and laboratory scientists in multidisciplinary care
Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows within MCW’s robust educational programs
Engage in clinical, translational, or basic science research with institutional support and protected time
Contribute to quality improvement, laboratory innovation, and development of diagnostic protocols
Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate
Qualification
Required
Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Pathology
State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin
Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist
