Responsibilities

Support the systems infrastructure needed by the government in the development of various applications

Work with teams of engineers and developers in a technical capacity

Play a critical role in supporting the systems security and infrastructure for the program

Qualification

Linux administrationCloud environment experienceSystem updates managementScripting (Python/Perl)Monitoring applications (Nagios)Security+ certificationRedSeal Network MappingSoftware knowledge ElasticsearchSoftware knowledge DockerSoftware knowledge Kubernetes

Required

Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)

Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository

Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)

Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus

Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi)

Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Security+ or recognized IAT2 level certification

Must possess an Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph

Preferred

Syslog/NxLog

Nagios or other similar monitoring applications

Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
