Global Assistant Controller - Publicly Traded Global AI Tech Company - 100% Remote
PCG Talent Network's client is a publicly traded global AI tech company, transforming customer engagement for Fortune 500 brands. They are seeking a Global Assistant Controller to lead global accounting operations, financial close, audit, compliance, and scalable process improvements.
Responsibilities
Lead global accounting operations, including GL, close, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with US GAAP
Oversee accounting support for SEC reporting, including financial statements and disclosures
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to ensure aligned financial reporting
Drive scalable processes, automation, and strong internal controls
Lead external audits, quarterly reviews, and SOX 404 compliance
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions (e.g., M&A, equity, leases)
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global accounting team
Advise leadership on accounting policy, risk, and financial governance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership within a public company
Deep expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with strong presentation and communication skill
Proven ability to build scalable processes and drive operational excellence
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills
Thrives in fast-paced, evolving organizations
Preferred
Experience leading global accounting teams in complex, high-growth environments; SaaS/technology preferred
