Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Operations Engineer (NASA LTVS Award Contingent)
Axiom Space is collaborating with Astrolab, Inc. to develop a Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) for future Artemis missions. The Operations Engineer will support NASA’s LTV Services contract by evaluating EVA crew interface designs, defining operational procedures, and conducting hardware design audits.

Responsibilities
Supporting LTV hardware teams in evaluating EVA crew interface designs with operational inputs
Defining and maintaining LTV EVA concept of operations, crew training plans and procedures
Conducting LTV hardware design audits, Human In The Loop (HITL) testing and crew training
Performing additional job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM from an accredited institution
0-5 years of experience with human spaceflight operations and hardware with a focus on EVA or EVR
Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software suites
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones
Preferred
Experience in Extravehicular Activities (EVA) and Extravehicular Robotics (EVR) operations and hardware is desired
