Dewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Drainage Engineer in their Tampa, FL office to enhance their transportation design practice. The successful candidate will prepare drainage plans and reports, collaborate with team members, and build relationships with clients and permitting agencies.

Responsibilities

Prepare drainage plans and reports for transportation projects

Perform and collaborate on drainage analyses with other Drainage staff

Train, mentor, and oversee the completion and accuracy of work performed by junior Drainage Department Staff

Communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultants, and clients

Meet and build strong working relationships with clients and permitting agencies

Assist with the development of marketing and project pursuit materials

Qualification

Civil EngineeringFDOT drainage designFlorida EIT licensePermitting requirementsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

2+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience

Experience with FDOT drainage design criteria

Experience with permitting requirements of Florida Water Management Districts

Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals

Preferred

Florida EIT license preferred
