Responsibilities
Lead and manage full lifecycle implementations (FLC) for SAP FICO modules, acting as the primary liaison between business and technical teams
Design and define organizational structures and chart of accounts to align SAP configurations with global financial reporting and operational needs
Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, ensuring alignment with IFRS/GAAP compliance standards
Work with multi-national corporations to support intercompany processes, eliminations, and financial consolidation scenarios
Manage both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of project milestones
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and cross-functional teams
Regularly engage with stakeholders, including C-level executives, to provide strategic input and direction
Stay current with SAP innovations, particularly around S/4HANA Finance and other emerging financial technologies
Travel weekly to client sites as required for project delivery and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant
Deep expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
Strong foundation in general accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
Experience with SAP New GL
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions
Lead and manage full lifecycle implementations (FLC) for SAP FICO modules
Design and define organizational structures and chart of accounts
Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications
Work with multi-national corporations to support intercompany processes
Manage both onshore and offshore teams
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants
Regularly engage with stakeholders, including C-level executives
Stay current with SAP innovations, particularly around S/4HANA Finance
Travel weekly to client sites as required for project delivery
In-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax, and baseline CO
Strong working knowledge of SAP New GL
Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
FICO lead on 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
Sub-module lead on 5–8 SAP projects
Experience managing distributed teams and working in global delivery models
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Ability to mentor junior consultants
Open to feedback, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Willingness to travel weekly based on project needs
Preferred
Experience with S/4HANA Finance
SAP S/4HANA implementation experience is highly desirable
Prior experience working in consulting services or fast-paced project environments
