Confidential company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Banking Associate to join their Corporate Finance & M&A team, focusing on sell-side transactions in the power and utilities industry. This role offers exposure to high-impact transactions and provides mentorship opportunities for junior staff.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Serve as project manager on client engagements, leading deal execution from origination to closing
Develop and maintain integrated financial models and valuation analyses to support transaction strategy
Participate in sell-side M&A processes, debt and equity financing, and restructuring assignments
Prepare valuation memorandums, marketing materials, and transaction documentation; participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public and private offerings
Mentor Analysts and Associates, providing guidance on technical, analytical, and client management skills
Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Required

5–7 years of post-undergraduate experience in investment banking with a strong track record in sell-side M&A

Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and client management skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Preferred

Direct experience with transactions in the power/utilities sector strongly preferred
