Responsibilities
Greet guests in friendly and welcoming manner; ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times
Provide exceptional, friendly, and courteous service to guests
Manage reservations, ensuring accurate guest information including special requests
Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests; taking consideration of availability and guest preference
Escort guests to designated tables in professional and courteous manner
Communicates effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to manage seating
Effectively relay seating assignments and guest details to the Servers
Communicate regularly to server team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Handle guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner; collaborate with supervisory staff to address issues that may arise
Ensure work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation requirements
Completes opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks, setup, preparation in assigned area, daily and monthly inventory
Collaborate with FOH and BOH team to promote a positive environment, smooth operations and timely service
May assist with inventory, re-stocking item, and other restaurant duties
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands
Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary
Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
Preferred
Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
Previous Host/Hostess experience preferred
