Summer Intern, Supervision Regulation & Credit, Gen AI
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a PhD level or graduate student for a summer internship in the Supervision Regulation & Credit team. The intern will assist in leveraging Gen AI for data and analytics work, including creating reports, conducting testing, and supporting project coordination.

Responsibilities
Report Building for AI Updates: Weekly reports on open-source AI updates that the team can incorporate
Prompt Engineering Evaluation: Testing how prompt variations impact results at scale. The intern will conduct systematic A/B testing of prompt components to optimize accuracy
Project Coordination Support: Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, note-taking, JIRA updates. Facilitate communication across teams to maintain project momentum
Adoption & Training Facilitation: Create announcements, training materials, user onboarding resources, and department-specific guides to drive engagement
Technical Documentation: Apply Python knowledge to understand and document internal tools and to improve accessibility of MartinAI documentation for broader team usage
Qualification
Required
A master's or PhD student pursuing a degree related to Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Data Science
Experience in Python, Stata, and MS Office Suite
Preferred
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Organizational skills to annotate and document their work such that others can pick up where the project left off
Ability to work well independently with little supervision, the project manager will be available to assist
Strong presentation and communication skills to share what they have completed concisely and effectively
