The Senior Director, Enterprise Revenue Cycle Center of Excellence is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and operational oversight across revenue cycle functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision and roadmap for the Enterprise Revenue Cycle COE, aligning with organizational goals and compliance requirements
Lead governance for payer pricing, business rules, and revenue cycle processes across multiple systems
Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards to measure operational efficiency and financial accuracy
Drive enterprise-wide initiatives to standardize processes and implement best practices
Provide strategic leadership for revenue adjustment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution
Oversee Unbilled COE operations to minimize delays and improve billing efficiency
Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and timely response to audit requests
Lead setup and maintenance of payor contract pricing and business rules across systems
Manage RM table maintenance to ensure accurate reimbursement methodologies
Collaborate with Managed Care Directors and Legal Contracts teams to ensure proper interpretation and application of payer agreements
Monitor trends in transactional activities to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
Initiate and track action plans when operational results fall short of targets or indicate potential performance risks
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all revenue cycle processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with field leadership through proactive communication, engagement, and partnership
Lead and direct activities related to analysis and legacy system maintenance for payer, pricing, and business rule master data
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the COE team
Performs other duties as required

Required

4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required
10 years of related experience
Experience managing direct and indirect teams, including internal and contracted employees
Strong understanding of payer contract structures, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory compliance
Expertise in audit support and revenue adjustment processes
Experience with and understanding of customer care center administration, systems, and reimbursement methodologies
Six Sigma/Lean certification
Strong communication, business process analysis, and strategic business analysis skills
Demonstrated success in team leadership, program management, global delivery, relationship management, and change management
Strong capabilities in service team leadership, cross-cultural aptitude, adaptability, influence, and innovation
Experience with RM tables, payer pricing systems, and business rule configuration
Familiarity with legacy system maintenance and payer master data management
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights
