Responsibilities

Lead development, maintenance, and ownership of project schedules from pursuit through closeout
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Directors, and Directors of Operations to establish, manage, and update project milestones
Ensure all schedule milestones align with contractual commitments, execution plans, and operational strategies
Communicate schedule updates, changes, and impacts clearly and proactively to project teams, operations leadership, and executive stakeholders
Facilitate schedule alignment meetings to review milestone status, sequencing, and recovery plans
Lead project schedule handoff to ensure baseline schedules and milestone expectations are fully understood by the project team
Develop, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules, ensuring logic integrity and accurate progress measurement
Participate in contract and subcontract reviews with emphasis on schedule requirements, milestones, and sequencing risks
Maintain schedule integrity through disciplined updates, forecasting, and change analysis
Identify schedule risks early and collaborate with PMs, PDs, and Operations to develop mitigation and recovery strategies
Support change management by analyzing schedule impacts, assisting with time impact analyses, and tracking schedule-related changes through approval
Monitor productivity trends and milestone performance to assess schedule health
Develop and implement scheduling tools, dashboards, and reporting methods to improve visibility and accountability
Participate in monthly Management Safety Audits with consideration of schedule-driven risk exposure
Provide production tracking and milestone visibility using company-standard tools
Act as the primary scheduling partner to Project Managers, Project Directors, and Operations Leadership
Drive accountability for milestone commitments across a portfolio of projects
Coordinate preparation of internal and external schedule reports through accurate data analysis and interpretation
Contribute to overall project planning by reporting on milestone compliance, look-ahead planning, and critical path impacts
Lead cross-functional coordination efforts to resolve schedule conflicts and execution challenges
Anticipate client and leadership concerns related to schedule and proactively communicate solutions
Understand contractual milestone expectations and recognize events that may impact delivery
Audit and refine schedule update processes to improve accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Provide supervision and guidance to Scheduling Specialists, including daily oversight, schedule reviews, and ad hoc analysis

Required

5–8 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on project scheduling for self-perform construction operations
Demonstrated proficiency in critical path method (CPM) scheduling, including schedule development, updates, analysis, and impact evaluation
Advanced working knowledge of construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent), with the ability to independently manage project schedules from preconstruction through project closeout
Solid understanding of field operations, production sequencing, and schedule logic as they relate to self-performed trade work
Ability to collaborate closely with project management, operations, and field leadership to maintain accurate, executable, and recoverable project schedules
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present schedule data, risks, and recovery strategies

Concrete construction experience strongly preferred
