Responsibilities
Execute on-the-ground quantitative research by conducting customer intercept surveys at current locations and competitor sites to validate pricing, menu preferences, and brand sentiment
Assist in analyzing qualitative data from our research partners. You will review datasets and reports to identify key consumer themes, trends, and actionable insights for the strategy team
Support the launch of new locations by helping the team launch the brand in new neighborhoods in California
Conduct field audits in target expansion neighborhoods, documenting foot traffic patterns, competitor pricing, and demographic mixes to inform site selection
Synthesize your survey findings and field notes into clear, weekly summaries to help the Head of Brand Strategy make data-driven decisions
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate student or recent graduate (Marketing, Business, Communications, or Hospitality focus preferred)
Energetic & Outgoing: You love talking to people and aren't afraid to approach new customers
Reliable: You show up on time and can be trusted with independent tasks
A 'Doer': Willing to roll up your sleeves, whether that's organizing spreadsheets or carrying boxes of tea
Local: Familiar with Orange County/LA neighborhoods and trends
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (for event setup)
