Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) is seeking a Guest Services Representative to support the local Naval community at the Navy Lodge in Moffett, CA. The role involves providing excellent customer service, managing room keys and transactions, and ensuring the lobby area is well-maintained.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to our valued and honored guests

Issues room keys, operating telephone switchboard, utilizes computerized Property Management Systems

Communicates with Navy Lodge personnel and chain of command

Reconciles daily transactions of all accounts

Follows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions

Responsible for lobby appearance including, cleaning, mopping, dusting, and organization of assigned work areas

Responsible for the set-up, breakdown and clean-up of the complimentary 'self-service' breakfast bar and other events in the lobby area

Required

1 year of general office clerical experience and progressive responsible experience

Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check

One 1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily

One 1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled

Study completed in a college university or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience
