Responsibilities

Build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel
Assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs
Obtaining and processing customer and account information
Educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services
Recommending financial solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
Originating and closing consumer loans
Opening accounts
Opening and/or closing the branch

Qualification

NMLS registrationBilingual English & SpanishRetail banking experienceCustomer service skillsSales campaign experienceDigital product proficiencyInterpersonal skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
Knowing how to read, write, and speak in business-level proficiency of the Spanish language
National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z

Preferred

Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
Experience in the financial services industry preferred
