Actuarial Analyst

The Actuarial Analyst will assist the Chief Actuary and the actuarial group in providing high-quality service to clients while developing actuarial knowledge and working towards professional designations.

Responsibilities
Conducts actuarial studies as requested by client; not limited to analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes
Applies knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance, and business to calculations in casualty insurance
Obtain, input, and summarize large databases for use in actuarial studies
Follow up as necessary with clients and managers to ensure studies are complete and delivered within deadlines
Organize and document work so that others may follow up as necessary and trace the flow of work performed to date
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or similar field
Must possess or be actively pursuing an Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation
Minimum of 0-5 years' actuarial and/or insurance experience
Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
