Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs by collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and end users. Utilize interviews, workshops, questionnaires, and other methods to gather and define requirements
Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to define project scope, vision, and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and outcomes
Develop clear and concise requirements documentation using standard templates. Translate conceptual customer needs into functional requirements that can be understood by developers and project teams
Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency, feasibility, and alignment. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders and project managers effectively
Create process models, diagrams, specifications, and charts to guide developers and project teams. Assist in interpreting customer requirements into feasible solution options
Develop and execute test plans to validate that project requirements are met. Support project teams in ensuring deliverables align with defined business needs and objectives
Conduct research and analysis to identify solutions for complex business problems, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making and project outcomes
Assist in developing statements of work (SOW) and defining the scope of services for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business requirements and project goals

Required

Five (5) years of professional experience in the information technology field in areas such as programming, systems analysis, and data/telecommunications, depending on the duties of the position
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university, or certifications in specific programming languages or operating systems may be required, depending on the duties of the position
Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys
Strong documentation skills with experience using standard templates and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar software)
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is highly desirable
Ability to create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and other visual aids to support requirement definition
Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Experience conducting feasibility studies and solution assessments
Expertise in conducting gap analyses
Advanced skills in preparing and refining comprehensive business requirement documents (BRD)
Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving project goals
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Preferred

Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related role, ideally within a project-driven or IT-focused environment
Strong understanding of software development processes, technical solutions, and business analysis tools and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Professional: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA–AAC), or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
Technical: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud-based certification
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with data storytelling techniques is a strong asset
