Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and financial regulations
Develop, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Support process improvements and financial system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
Experience in a professional service or staffing environment preferred
Quickbooks expertise (all internal Accounting/Finance) is on QuickBooks currently
Accounts payable experience, running payroll, invoicing experience
Strong experience with collections, receipts and invoice categorization
Experience managing the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
