Responsibilities

Design and implement complex control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs and CODESYS
Develop hardware/firmware interfaces and IoT solutions
Create and maintain PLC/IPC/HMI software and vision systems
Establish electrical and controls design standards
Implement system health monitoring and self-healing automation
Manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
Lead technical design reviews for control systems and simulations
Coordinate with global design teams and vendors
Drive process improvements and technical implementation
Review and integrate new MHE technologies

Required

2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience
2+ years' experience directly developing control strategies in CODESYS
Demonstrated experience with Functional Safety standards (IEC 62061, IEC 13849, or IEC 61508)

Preferred

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers
