Responsibilities

Assay Development: Design, validate, scale-up, and implement cutting-edge cell-based functional assays for high-throughput screening and characterization of lead candidates in cancer immunotherapy research
Flow Cytometry: Utilize extensive flow cytometry experience, preferably in high-throughput settings, to analyze cellular responses and phenotypes
Data Analysis: Develop data analysis, QC, and visualization evaluation pipeline for high-throughput screens; competency in programming (e.g., R, Python) for large, complex data sets is highly preferred
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures, experimental designs, and results in compliance with organizational standards; familiarity with Benchling a plus
Critical Thinking: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions to scientific challenges
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing research projects, ensuring seamless integration of experimental findings
Team Engagement: Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions on experimental design, troubleshooting, and interpretation of results

Required

Ph.D.in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field with 0+ years relevant industry or academic experience
M.S. in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field with 4+ years relevant industry or academic experience
B.S. in Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field with 6+ years relevant industry or academic experience

Preferred

Demonstrated expertise in automation platforms for high-throughput screening
Proven expertise in flow cytometry, preferably in high-throughput applications
Strong background in data analysis and visualization; experience with statistical programming languages is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining comprehensive laboratory records
Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex scientific problems
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
Experience in cancer immunotherapy research
Knowledge of bioinformatics tools for data interpretation
