Responsibilities
Compile and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from electronic sources (.xls, .txt, etc.)
Perform drawback analysis and support CBP compliance initiatives
Pull and analyze data from U.S. Customs ACE (Automated Commercial Environment)
Extract and analyze data from CargoWise
Identify and research HTS codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and operational issues
Develop working knowledge of supply chain processes, including logistics, planning, and customer master setup
Work independently on assigned tasks while escalating complex issues when appropriate
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in data analysis, trade compliance, supply chain, or a related field
Experience with HTS codes (classification and interpretation)
Experience pulling and analyzing US Customs ACE data
Experience pulling data from CargoWise
Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Finance, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Supply chain experience is a strong plus
Import brokerage or export forwarding experience is highly preferred
Plus: Access, SQL, or .NET
