Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update standard cost models for manufactured products in the ERP system
Manage project-based costing for engineered-to-order products, including setup, tracking, and analysis
Maintain and analyze inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-process, semi-finished, and finished goods
Perform weekly and monthly WIP analysis and reconciliations, including project-level WIP
Review and support standard cost updates, including annual and periodic re-costing activities
Monitor, analyze, and explain manufacturing variances related to material, labor, and overhead
Maintain product and cost-related financial master data to ensure ERP accuracy
Support month-end close activities related to inventory, WIP, and cost of goods sold
Develop margin, variance, and profitability reporting by product, product line, customer, and project
Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to support cost estimating, quoting, pricing decisions, and cost improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–7 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variances
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, or similar)
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience in project-based or engineer-to-order manufacturing
