Responsibilities

Assist with daily jobsite walks focused on safety, cleanliness, and organization

Observe trade sequencing and coordination with Superintendents

Support quality control walks and inspection preparation

Input and track defects and punch items in BuildPro

Assist with model and site maintenance activities

Observe SWPPP compliance and site logistics

Shadow warranty service request intake and documentation

Observe homeowner communications and service scheduling

Assist with tracking completion and homeowner signoffs

Observe New Home Orientations and pre-walks (as appropriate)

Learn how construction quality impacts customer satisfaction and survey results

Assist with bid comparisons and scope reviews

Learn purchasing workflows and PO generation processes

Support documentation and follow-up with vendors and trade partners

Observe how purchasing decisions impact cost, schedule, and quality

Participate in weekly check-ins with assigned mentor

Gain exposure to Brookfield standards, systems, and culture

Prepare and deliver a final summary presentation outlining lessons learned and improvement opportunities

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes

Comfortable working on active construction job sites

Must possess reliable transportation

Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
