Responsibilities
Uses imagination and creativity within the guidelines of the Bill of Material and Engineering drawings to assemble parts for the Lavi industries product line
Safely operates Screw guns, Impact wrenches, Drill presses, Punch presses and an assortment of small to medium power/hand tools
Reads, interprets, and understands Engineering drawings, sketches, work instructions, and bills of materials
Works concurrently with other jobs in assembly and other departments so Lavi Industries products remain uniformly built
Follows company policies regarding safety
Special projects or duties as assigned by management or required due to business needs
Qualification
Required
Must have knowledge of the basic use of small power tools and hand tools
Must be mechanically inclined
Ability to learn precision assembly training
Attention to detail
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Learn and understand materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and brass
Possesses knowledge of tubing diameter by sight (i.e. 1 ½ in and 2 in)
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
High school education/diploma and/or equivalent
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing is a plus
Bilingual in English / Spanish
Steel-toed shoes are required
