Responsibilities

Lead collaboration with development, technical entities/vendors, and project team members to provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with a product, leading frequent communication with end users
Work with the project team to handle issue escalation to the vendor if applicable
Maintain involvement and knowledge of projects related to their products and collaborates with team members to monitor product issue that places the project at risk
Work as part of a team to successfully implement fixes, patches and version upgrades released by a vendor, collaborating with project teams to evaluate and decide upon their application for HCA. Contributing participant in establishing release schedule definition for the product, balancing vendor updates with the needs of HCA
Represent the IT product owner on projects, contributing detailed knowledge of product features and functions, working with software vendors and product development peers to understand new product features
Support product implementation, customization, or development and document technical requirements. Lead system and customer support, incident resolution, and issue escalation procedures
Oversee pilot preparation, coordinating rollouts, documenting process through initial deployments and transferring deployment responsibility as needed
Work with the IT team to implement usual business maintenance requirements for the system in production including resolution of system issues, discovery of new configuration requirements and the configuration of constituent applications
Support the deployment of changes into production
Build strong relationships within the department and across the organization, including business owners
Effectively lead and manage multiple projects and tasks at a time without loss of efficiency or composure
Work with the IT team to implement usual business maintenance requirements for the system in production including resolution of system issues, discovery of new configuration requirements and the configuration of constituent applications
Support the deployment of changes into production
Lead knowledge of product(s) functionality to requirement definition activities for initial product deployment and product enhancements
Participate in vendor evaluations for products that are projected to deliver business value, require IT infrastructure changes, or present technical or operational risk
Continually mature an understanding of how business practitioners utilize the product(s), by maintaining relationships with the business partners and product users
Develop or maintain updated product documentation, oversee the preparation of the product testing strategy and testing execution plan
Oversee the development of user documentation and manuals, training material, and/or job aids
Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team

Required

Lead Product Analyst with 4+ years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise level software solutions
Provide recognized knowledge of features, functionality and utilization of products
Provide product expertise, design detailed product functionality, identify and escalate project issues
Provide hands-on expertise to independently resolve service delivery or functionality issues with a product, frequently communicating with end users and vendors
Continually mature an understanding of how business owners/practitioners utilize the product(s) by maintaining strong relationships with business partners and product users
Contribute product knowledge to trainers, documenters and testers
Define and lead initiatives to improve the product design, implementation, and operational issues in support of improving the user experience while maintaining a high level of success
