Responsibilities
Process applications for certification of in-state educators
Review and evaluate credentials of out-of-state applicants and apply the rules for reciprocity
Review and evaluate experience records of educators, including teaching and work experience
Process requests and evaluations for adding certification fields and endorsements
Analyze and process class level advancement requests including Master's, Education Specialist, Doctorate, and Master’s +30
Respond to telephone inquiries and emails concerning all aspects of educator certification
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma and relevant program experience
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience
Preferred
A bachelor's degree and one (1)-year related program experience
Capacity to identify and analyze issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Ability to multi-task and think critically
