Leadership Support Intern – National Pastoral Migratoria
The Archdiocese of Chicago, serving over 2.2 million Catholics, is seeking a Leadership Support Intern for the Pastoral Migratoria initiative. The role involves providing leadership support for community-building efforts, program implementation, and resource development related to immigrant leadership ministry.

Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of programming strategies to respond to the needs of dioceses for Pastoral Migratoria. Support relationship and community-building efforts and the provision of resources
Support the development and execution of the National Institute, National Migration Week, Posada for Immigration Reform, and other collaborative initiatives. Foster and support the participation of dioceses, pastoral teams, and partners
Take a leadership role in revitalizing our network of dioceses and pastoral leaders who collaborate on national strategies related to the immigration issue
Coordinate the development and delivery of the National Forum. Support the development and rollout of Diocesan Forums
Coordinate and support revamping our CRM database system to improve data integrity and optimize the use of needed features and capabilities
Support the implementation of the Pastoral Migratoria leadership formation program at diocesan sites to provide for initial and continuous formation needs
Prepare reports on program outcomes. Assist in developing and tracking evaluation criteria and in impact analysis. Support data gathering for budgets and fundraising as requested
Other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Bilingual in Spanish and English. Strong written and oral communication skills
A minimum of 3 years work experience in community building and social ministry, with a personal and/or professional history with immigrant communities
Supports the Catholic Church's mission and social teaching. Hiring preference may be given to candidates who are Catholic
Understanding of faith-based leadership development practices
Knowledge of immigration issues and legislation; committed to social justice
Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Strong administration, organization, project planning and coordination skills
Willing to travel up to 20% of the time across the U.S
