Responsibilities

Joining 3M’s Manufacturing Technology organization as a member of the Injection Molding team, where we seek to support development of products, processes, and technologies across the company as well as solve challenging manufacturing problems

Providing engineering leadership to the Injection Molding pilot plant and advancing molding capabilities

Working directly with the technician team to assist with process development and troubleshooting to ensure production runs and experiments are completed on time and yield positive results

Working directly with internal customers to provide robust processes and products in support of New Product Introductions, product/process improvements, mold renewals, qualifications

Driving improvements in EHS, quality, service, cost, and overall efficiencies in molding

Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and work instructions

Supporting a dynamic operation through willingness to be on-call
