Responsibilities

Responsible to Charge Nurse
Provides direct and indirect patient care (nutrition, elimination, hygiene, mobility, safety)
Assists with or performs basic nursing procedures (e.g. follow-up, IV’s, saline locks, sterile & unsterile drips, NG’s, wound care, trach care, vitals, glucometers, colostomy care)
Completes SNT orientation check-off with Preceptor, once completed can perform duties independently with preceptor co-signing

Qualification

BLS certificationClinical rotationsBasic nursing proceduresPatient careNurse aide experience

Required

Must have completed two semesters of clinical rotations in an accredited program
Completes SNT orientation check-off with Preceptor, once completed can perform duties independently with preceptor co-signing
BLS certification at hire

Preferred

Previous experience as nurse aide
