MacAllister Machinery is a leading provider of service and repair for equipment rentals. They are currently seeking a Rental Services Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures

Assist in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components

Understand the operations, functions, specifications, capabilities, and controls of any piece of rental equipment

Complete all documents associated with repairs in an accurate and timely manner

Adhere to the manager’s and lead mechanic’s directions regarding all repairs and service calls

Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in the work area

Required

High School Diploma or GED

1 year or more of work-related experience in a mechanic/technician related position

Preferred

Certificate acquired through a vocational or technical school

3 years or more of work-related experience with heavy equipment, preferably with a rental company or Caterpillar and/or in a position with a working knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, electronic/electrical systems, etc

Must have required shop hand tools
