Social Media Intern

Clayton offers a Summer Internship Program that provides students with hands-on working experience in their field of study. The Social Media Intern will contribute to social media strategies and content creation, while gaining valuable training in corporate social media management.

Responsibilities

Create a social media campaign and present to Social Team: Define strategy, KPIs, and create the campaign content
Work alongside Social Team to create video content for Clayton’s social channels, specifically Instagram Reels and Tik Tok
Brainstorm campaign ideas for social, bringing new and creative ideas for Clayton’s social media channels
Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts in line with Clayton brand standards and corporate social media practices for designated accounts
Work closely with the Content, Photography, PR, and Videography teams to develop engaging content
Identify creative, engaging new content opportunities to share with the team
Assist with social media reporting and analyze channel performance
Report on social media trends

Required

Must be a junior or senior enrolled in a degree program in Digital Marketing & Social Media, Social Media Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field
Strong presentation skills required as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
Some experience in digital marketing / social media marketing required
Strong knowledge of major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok

Preferred

Knowledge of social media analytics to track post and campaign performance
Excellent internet research skills
Influencer campaign knowledge or experience
