Responsibilities

Design, development, and deployment of microprocessor-driven neurostimulation and neural recording systems employing AI/ML/RL applications in hand and body tracking, computer vision, and reinforcement learning

Develop and optimize firmware and algorithms for Neuvotion’s products

Develop real-time processing, ensuring robust and accurate decision-making

Design and develop mobile applications on Android / iOS platforms

Implement and port AI/ML/RL algorithms to microprocessors for real-time execution in microprocessor-based systems

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, neuroscientists, and clinicians, to integrate subsystems into medical devices

Oversee data collection, annotation, and pipeline creation to support model training and validation

Stay at the forefront of neurotechnology and AI/ML/RL advancements, incorporating state-of-the-art techniques to enhance Neuvotion’s product offerings

Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members, fostering innovation and collaboration

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines relevant to AI/ML/RL in medical devices

Required

Education: MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related degree

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics and firmware development, with experience in real-time AI/ML/RL deployment in portable devices with microprocessors

Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design and implementing and porting AI/ML algorithms to microprocessors for real-time applications is required

Experience in reinforcement learning and the medical device industry or clinical environments is preferred

Experience in analog and digital circuit design

Expertise in AI/ML/RL frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Strong firmware skills with multiple microprocessors running a RTOS

Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or equivalent languages

Experience in mobile application development (Android / iOS)

Hands-on experience with multiple microprocessor platforms including ESP-32 and similar for real-time applications

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams is a must
