Responsibilities

Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Site Manager by instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives

Evaluate aircraft discrepancies to identify proper repair methods. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete the task

Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished promptly

Inspect for corrosion, treat and repair discrepancies. Perform touch-up painting and apply decals and labels. Prepare aircraft components for paint

Remove and replace engines, accomplish engine rigging and test

Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production

Required

Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required

5+ years C-12 (A200/B200/B300/1900) experience

5+ years Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engine experience (PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60, PT6A-65)

5+ years' experience of Airframe, mechanical and electrical systems

High School Diploma or equivalent

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Excellent time management skills

Excellent decision-making skills

Ability to troubleshoot, rig and operational check/test engines

Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment

Must be proficient at sheet metal repairs

Travel may be required up to 25% of the time
