Senior System Center Administrator

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Senior System Center Administrator to support and enhance an enterprise System Center Service Manager environment. The role involves administration, maintenance, and intake of new Service Manager requests, along with workflow development and system integrations.

Responsibilities

Report to the Bureau Chief of Information Technology Services
Work with business units to collect and develop requirements for Service Manager requests
Administer and create new Service Manager request offerings
Develop, maintain, and update workflows in System Center Orchestrator
Maintain and update the Cireson web portal, including coordination with vendors to fulfill service requests
Update JavaScript used for Service Manager request forms
Maintain, update, and patch System Center, Orchestrator, and Cireson environments
Interact with staff, team members, management, and internal/external organizations (including vendors) to compile and manage Service Manager–related information
Collaborate with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or Point of Contact (POC) for Service Manager–related processes
Recommend improvements to leadership related to efficiency, effectiveness, reporting, and productivity
Act as a liaison between technical teams and management, including executive leadership
Provide some after-hours project and platform support as required
Develop and refine Service Manager request intake processes
Perform maintenance and patching of the Service Manager environment and recommend future improvements
Act as lead on a project to migrate the Service Manager environment to an updated and current standard
Experience supporting major project implementations
Exposure to HIPAA, CDC, and enterprise network and server infrastructure

Qualification

Required

Minimum 3 years of working in a development role supporting MS System Center, demonstrating a deep understanding of services & features, site design & best practices
Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in MS Azure
Minimum 5 years of administrative experience in MS Servers
Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT methodology framework. (i.e. ITIL, MITA...)
Current or recent experience with MS System Center is required and will be given the highest weight
Experience should include documented success with prior MS System Center projects and work in an enterprise-level System Center environment
Highly skilled in maintaining, implementing, and configuring request offerings, service offerings, and connectors
Administration, customization, and integration with other System Center components (SCCM, SCOM, Orchestrator)
Configuration of Service Manager Changes, Incidents, and Services
Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including system patching and maintenance
Strong technical understanding of the Microsoft System Center suite and its integration with SCCM, SCOM, and Orchestrator
Basic understanding of SQL Server and its role in supporting the System Center suite
Configuration and management of users and groups in Active Directory Users and Computers
Configuration and administration of users and groups in Microsoft Entra ID
Experience managing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for computer and endpoint maintenance
Develop and refine Service Manager request intake processes
Perform maintenance and patching of the Service Manager environment and recommend future improvements
Act as lead on a project to migrate the Service Manager environment to an updated and current standard
Experience supporting major project implementations
Exposure to HIPAA, CDC, and enterprise network and server infrastructure
Bachelors Degree and/or 5 years of related work experience
