Responsibilities
Work with the fabrication team to deliver all furniture from Cambium East
Operate woodshop tools and millwork equipment such as table saws, planers, sanders, gang rips, and jointers to process raw boards into finished goods
Assemble finished products
Follow safety protocols, daily task lists, and standard operating procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free shop
Assist with R&D and prototyping tasks by fabricating product samples or components based on provided specs or mockups
Contribute to a team culture that values hustle, consistency, and accountability
Qualification
Required
Confidence working with woodshop tools
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
Attention to detail
Strong commitment to safety, speed, and consistency
Experience with shop tools and industrial equipment
Comfortable in a woodshop or factory environment
Experience in woodworking or construction
Ability to solve problems using good judgement
Prioritize safety and follow protocols consistently
Ability to move with urgency and stay focused in high-output environments
Ability to produce high-quality work and spot issues before they become problems
Ability to follow through on tasks and communicate clearly
Reliability as a teammate who contributes to shop rhythm and morale
Detail-oriented when handling one-off or custom builds
Ability to follow prototyping instructions precisely
