Lead Test Project Engineer

Responsibilities
Lead and oversee capital engineering test stand projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies
Lead and manage the execution of capital projects for test stand and facility development for aerospace products
Collaborate with engineering teams to define test requirements and specifications
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers within group to develop strong skills and continued growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Aerospace engineering or related fields
A minimum of 8 years of experience in test engineering within the aerospace industry or other related field
Strong knowledge of test methodologies and tools specific to aerospace products
Experience with management of capital projects within the Honeywell Capital Management System
Experience in test facility setup and correlation testing with production assets
Strong program management skills including IMS development, TINA complaint BOEs, and budget management
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S
Preferred
Advanced degrees in Engineering, such as MS in Aerospace Engineering or related fields
Experience in aerospace product testing and evaluation
Technical knowledge of vibration and environmental testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities
