Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network infrastructure, configurations, and changes for future reference as well as knowledge sharing
Provides tier 3/4 network support services for the enterprise
Manage and maintained Cisco networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless components
Analyze current network features, integrate new network features into existing infrastructures, and help to resolve integration and testing issues
Maintain system and company network while ensuring IT network compliance with company policies, external regulatory requirements, technical standards, and best business practices
Properly document all systems network implementation plans, operations, and maintenance activities and update as necessary
Utilize ServiceNow as their primary ticketing system
Qualification
Required
Must possess about 4-6 years' experience in a LAN/Network Engineering role (preferably at an enterprise level company)
3+ years' experience replacing old hardware with new Cisco Solutions: Catalyst 9300 switches, ASA Switches and Cisco IOS
Experience racking and stacking- Hands-on experience developing, configuring, and installing Routers/Switches
Experienced troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec technologies, and IP routing issues
Proficient with routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, ISIS and how internet traffic moves
Experienced working with both Microsoft and Unix-based operating systems
Preferred
Certifications that are a plus: MCP, CCNA, CWNA, CCNP, BCNE, EMCSA, VCP
Solid understanding of ITIL foundation service lifecycle
