L'Auberge Lake Charles is a leading provider of integrated entertainment and casino gaming experiences. They are seeking a Golf Superintendent to oversee and maintain golf facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment while managing staff and resources effectively.

Responsibilities
Oversees and maintains the golf facilities and landscaping and other infrastructure assuring for a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment as well as the best public relations
Plans, seeks approval, and implements special events that enhance revenues
Maintains an awareness of the supplies, tools and equipment needed to operate on a routine basis. Assists with ordering and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment
Conducts routine inspections of all facilities and equipment assuring that they are in working order, safe, and assessable
Encourages participation from staff. Develops ideas for innovation
Deals with the public and makes presentations as requested in a professional, courteous manner
Supervises and assures preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment assuring for continuing availability of the equipment and for safety
Provides training or makes arrangements for staff training and as needed assuring for professional development and for safety
Schedules work assignments assuring that all required maintenance and other projects and activities are completed in a safe and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, basic hand, power tools, and mowing equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as all outside contacts
Ability to prepare and maintain clear and concise reports and records
Requires physical strength, stamina and agility
Possession of a valid driver's license
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of courses in professional landscaping, in addition to a minimum of five years' general landscaping experience, preferably at a golf course or similar facility
