Responsibilities
Review and approve IT project funding requests and change control requests submitted by project teams
Ensure compliance with the Company's Global Procedures and PDLC standards
Assess feasibility of project plans and identify potential risks
Verify that documentation includes appropriate detail and clarity
Provide guidance to project teams on resolving complex issues and applying Global Procedures and PDLC in unique situations
Coordinate with the Home Office (Japan) for project funding approvals when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
5-6 years of experience within a large, highly matrixed organization (experience in financial industry is preferred)
Approximately 3-5 years in IT project management related experience
Strong understanding of IT project governance frameworks and processes
Ability to analyze project plans and identify risks effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Problem-solving mindset for complex and unique project scenarios
Ability to lead related parties with different interests to reasonable consensus
Attention to details is a must - validation of numbers and dates are required daily
Commute to NJ office (Harborside) 4 days a week is required
Preferred
Bilingual Japanese (business level) is highly desired
