MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER II

Responsibilities

Provide inputs within the gate process for the proper industrialization of all new products
Assist with product qualification efforts
Create process development documentation and manufacturing instructions
Assist with creation of PFMEAs
Support tooling design activities
Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Assembly (DFA) initiatives within the NPD cycle
Drives results through collaboration, influence and direct reporting relationships
Collaborates effectively with colleagues and peers
Interacts and/or negotiates effectively with external and/or internal individuals
Actively drives self-improvement related to training, coaching and mentorship from others
Utilizes lean methodologies to drive business initiatives
Collaborate with vendors to provide solutions and resolve technical queries

Required

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite especially Excel
Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Able to deliver quality results with minimal oversight and direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with others of diverse backgrounds
Willingness to shift priorities as business pressures demand
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. lawful Permanent Resident, person granted Asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee

Preferred

Experience with new product development
Experience within the subsea Oil & Gas industry
Experience with underwater fiber optic and electrical connector cable assemblies
Familiarity with 3D CAD/CAE software (SolidWorks and Creo Preferred)
