Responsibilities
Play a key role in shaping and maintaining essential County infrastructure
Apply your technical expertise independently while collaborating with experienced engineers on projects that serve the public good
Plan work details
Make sound technical decisions
Tackle meaningful engineering challenges
Reviewing and approving utility plans and permits
Interpreting as-built drawings and technical reports
Preparing bid packages and construction documents
Ensure all work meets County and industry standards
Provide technical guidance to contractors, vendors, and customers
Deliver responsive problem-solving and exceptional service to support safe, reliable utility operations countywide
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Three (3) years of experience in civil or environmental engineering
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
