Palmetto Infusion is a provider of comprehensive ambulatory and home-based infusion services. The Reimbursement Supervisor directs and manages the Billers and Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections while providing leadership and support to the team.

Responsibilities

Review and ensure all claims are billed in a timely manner and with accuracy

Assist in handling issues with Pharmacy, Nursing, or Intake

Provide leadership and supervision of Reimbursement team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing system and productivity standards

Establishes and maintains payer relations as directed by the Director of Reimbursement

Participate in end-of-month closing procedures

Communicate with supervisor with suggestions for improvement of processes

Review and ensure timely collections of claims for services, primary and/or secondary

Assist Director with Special Projects

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

3 years experience in medical revenue cycle, billing and/or collections

1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in revenue cycle, billing and/or collections

Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner

Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion
