Ballast Investments is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable to support the Accounts Payable vertical. The role involves overseeing the Accounts Payable team, processing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

Ensure invoices are processed and reviewed in a timely manner

Analyze coding for accuracy and implement improvements to reduce errors

Review account reconciliations

Prioritize payments as needed

Review and update processes for improvement and validate compliance of set policies

Prepare and manage responsibilities in keeping with tax and audit schedules

Facilitate 1099 process

Oversee the process of obtaining W-9 forms and appropriate backup, as needed

Attend to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues

Facilitate communication with vendors and onboarding

Monitor trackers and setup KPIs for team

Other duties as assigned by upper management
