BIM Designer

Responsibilities
Develop, design, and provide documentation for the construction of several multi-million-dollar agricultural retail facilities annually
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software
Produce clear and concise professional Design Progress and Construction Document drawing sets for:
Review by Nutrien Stakeholders and the Nutrien Construction Team
Coordination with Engineers, Consultants, and Equipment Vendors
Competitive Bidding by General Contractors
Collaborate with architects, engineers, construction managers, and project teams to resolve design issues
Interpret architectural and engineering sketches, specifications, and notes to produce accurate drawings
Understand and integrate life-safety, environmental safety, and regulatory requirements (IBC, OSHA, Nutrien standards, etc.) into project documents
Develop and manage Building Information Models (BIM) for projects
Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, models, and revisions
Develop internal BIM tools and practices
Manage and organize Revit detail and family libraries for use between projects
Create, manage, and maintain BIM/CAD templates
Maintain high standards of production, communication, and quality while meeting deadlines and adapting to each project

Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant Revit and AutoCAD Construction Document drafting experience is required
Bachelor's degree required, experience in lieu of education may be considered
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read, interpret and compose technical architectural and civil drawings and specifications
Preferred
Experience with agricultural retail facilities is desired, but not required
