Responsibilities

Provide expert-level (L3) support for high-priority production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation using PagerDuty to respond to critical alerts and system issues
Troubleshoot and debug Java-based microservices built with Spring Boot and exposed via REST APIs
Manage and support applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and serverless environments
Maintain and support ETL workflows orchestrated by Apache Airflow and secure file transfers via IBM Sterling MFT
Implement proactive monitoring and observability using ELK stack or similar tools, and automate operational tasks using scripting and cloud-native tooling
Adhere to Change Management processes and participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing

Required

5+ years of experience in Production Support, SRE, or L3 Application Support roles in cloud-native environments
Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for microservices troubleshooting
Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE (Kubernetes)
Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Solid understanding of RESTful services and API testing using Postman
Familiarity with IBM Sterling MFT or similar secure file transfer solutions
Experience with incident management tools like JIRA and on-call platforms like PagerDuty

Preferred

Experience automating operational processes using cloud-native tools
Knowledge of synthetic monitoring tools like UpTrends
Strong collaboration skills using Slack and other communication platforms
Familiarity with Disaster Recovery best practices and Change Management compliance
