The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for assisting patients with insurance and billing questions and performing functions associated with a customer service call center.

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with insurance and billing questions
Performing functions directly associated with a customer service call center including, but not limited to, taking payments, changing or updating insurance, updating patient demographics, and setting payment plans
Maintaining departmental goals associated with the call center, to include the requested average wait time and projected daily call volume
Performing all duties in English or Spanish, as required by the clients and departmental needs
Performing simple translation tasks
May require language interpretation at the basic or intermediate level

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Fluent, both orally and in the written form, in English and Spanish
Perform all duties in English or Spanish, as required by the clients and departmental needs

2 Years Healthcare
