Responsibilities
Design, organize and author technical content for internal developer audiences, including user manuals, onboarding guides, system architecture overviews, how-to articles, FAQs, release notes and configuration guides
Define documentation requirements with engineering teams and maintain complete documentation sets
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Development and QA to gather source material and translate complex workflows into clear, digestible content
Tailor documentation for multiple audiences such as developers, internal teams and business users
Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides to ensure consistency
Drive content strategies that improve onboarding efficiency and user adoption
Review and update documentation in line with product releases and user feedback
Qualification
Required
8–12 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a product-based or SaaS environment
Proven background creating onboarding documentation and user guides for cross-functional teams
Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and communicate them clearly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Notion or similar platforms; Markdown; basic HTML/CSS; and version control systems like Git
Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
Background or certification in computer science, engineering or a related field
Experience with enterprise-grade software, internal tooling, API documentation and system diagrams
