Responsibilities
Assists all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional & efficient way
Visits customers on a regular basis outside of the dealership
Ensures parts sales growth and customer satisfaction for assigned accounts
Informs customers of part requirements and specials
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
Pulls and fills orders from stock
Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits emergency orders -if necessary
Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received
Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of their invoice
Qualification
Required
Strongly motivated to succeed in a competitive environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly prioritize tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Previous outside sales experience isn't required but a plus
